AkuDozie Ltd
Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains your cancellation and refund rights for AkuDozie digital idea, planning, setup, and prototype support services.
1. Who to contact
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us as soon as possible at info@akudozie.com with your order reference and the email address used for the order. We aim to acknowledge your request within 5 working days.
2. Your 14-day cancellation right
If you are a consumer buying online, you may normally have a 14-day right to cancel your order under UK consumer distance-selling rules. This period normally begins on the day after the contract is made.
You can cancel by emailing info@akudozie.com with your order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel, or by using any other clear communication to that effect.
3. If you ask us to start work during the 14-day period
During checkout or order review, you will be asked to expressly confirm that you want AkuDozie to begin work after payment is received and before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.
If you give this express consent and then cancel before work is complete, we may charge a fair proportion of the agreed price for work completed up to the point you cancel. If no work has started at the point of cancellation, we will normally provide a full refund.
4. If the service is fully completed within the 14-day period
If you expressly requested that AkuDozie begin work before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, and the service has been fully performed within that period, your right to cancel may be lost once the service is complete.
5. Digital content and custom digital outputs
Many AkuDozie services involve the preparation of custom digital planning materials, briefs, prototypes, workflows, forms, calculators, landing pages, or other bespoke setup outputs.
Where a custom digital content output is supplied to you during the cancellation period with your express consent and acknowledgement, your cancellation and refund rights in respect of that delivered content may be lost or limited, subject always to your statutory rights.
Where a custom output has not yet been delivered, your cancellation rights remain as set out in sections 2 and 3 above.
6. Faulty or poor-quality work
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. If a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or a digital output does not meet applicable legal standards, you may have statutory remedies including the right to have the work redone, a price reduction, or a refund.
If you believe work has not been carried out to a reasonable standard, please contact us at info@akudozie.com with your order reference and a clear description of the issue.
7. How to cancel
You may cancel by:
- Emailing info@akudozie.com with your order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
- Any other clear written communication addressed to AkuDozie Ltd stating that you wish to cancel your order.
We recommend using email so you have a record. We will acknowledge your cancellation request and confirm whether a refund applies.
8. Refund timing
Where a refund is due, we aim to process it without undue delay and normally within 14 days of confirming the refund. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may depend on Stripe, your bank, Airwallex, or another payment provider involved in the original payment.
9. When refunds may not be available
A refund may not be available or may be reduced where:
- Work has already been completed and delivered.
- A bespoke custom digital output has been supplied during the cancellation period with your express consent.
- The service has been fully performed following your express request to begin work during the cancellation period.
- Incorrect or incomplete information was provided which affected the work carried out.
- The service was delivered with reasonable care and skill as described.
Each cancellation or refund request will be reviewed on its own facts. We will explain our position clearly if a refund is not available or is reduced.
10. Business customers
If you are purchasing as a business rather than as a consumer, the 14-day cancellation right described above does not apply. Any refund or cancellation in that case is at AkuDozie's reasonable discretion, subject to the terms agreed at the time of order.
11. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
